I. Process Position
As the "process cornerstone" of the rubber industry, the open mill operates through the shearing action of dual rollers. Its functions run through all core links of rubber production, serving as a key equipment connecting raw materials and semi-finished products.
II. Raw Material Mixing
Its core function is to uniformly blend raw rubber with additives such as carbon black and vulcanizing agents. It crushes solid additives through the extrusion of rollers to ensure that various components are evenly dispersed in the rubber matrix, avoiding uneven local composition affecting product performance.
III. Mastication
Aiming at the characteristics of raw rubber with high elasticity and poor plasticity, it breaks the molecular chains of raw rubber through mechanical action, reduces its elasticity and improves plasticity, laying the foundation for subsequent molding and processing procedures.
IV. Rubber Sheet Preparation
It can precisely adjust the roller spacing, processing the mixed rubber into uniform rubber sheets of 0.5-10 mm, effectively connecting downstream processes such as calendering and vulcanization, and ensuring the continuity of subsequent production.
V. R&D & Small-Batch Advantages
With the characteristics of intuitive operation and easy parameter adjustment, it can quickly complete the trial production of small-batch rubber compounds, which not only reduces R&D costs but also flexibly adapts to the needs of small-batch production.
