Product Function
The rolling mill rolls are the core components of the rolling mill, playing a crucial role in the processing of materials such as rubber and plastic. Through the relative rotation of multiple rolls, the material being processed is subjected to compression, stretching, and shearing effects between the rolls, thereby achieving processing purposes such as reducing the thickness, expanding the width, and making the surface smooth. For example, in the rubber rolling process, the rubber material gradually softens under the action of heating and roll pressure, and is compressed into the required sheet or tape as it passes through the roll gap.
Application Scenario
It is mainly applicable to the calendering and compounding of films of different widths and sizes such as tires, conveyor belts, and rubber sheets. Generally, it is classified into 2-roll, 3-roll, and 4-roll calendering according to process requirements. The rollers of the calendering machine usually have a longer surface length and require high processing accuracy. Generally, the roller configuration needs to include a height adjustment to counteract the distortion deformation of the roller body, ensuring the flatness of the output film. For products with high requirements for film smoothness, the roller body is usually electroplated with a mirror finish for polishing.
